One of the first things a business needs is a good business plan and we drew ours up when we launched last summer. We always knew that we would have to follow it to the letter if we wanted to be a success and now it turns out that the business plan itself could be bringing in a nice wad of cash! We are down to the last 3 in the prestigious Bolton Trust award that is taking place this Thursday infront of Venture capitalists, assembled media and business leaders. I had to do a photoshoot for the awards this morning which sadly meant I had to put my list of best food countires on hold for a couple of days! The good news is that we could win 10,000 but the bad news is that I have to make the presentation infront of 100 people! I'll be nervous but there could be one hell of a party Thursday night!

Great news last week when iFoods was rewarded with one of the biggest internet awards, a golden spider. We all had a great night out and it's always great to be rewarded for all our hard work!
In other iFoods.tv news we are currently launching our new series of videos which we shot in a London penthouse. Included are Christmas videos and a selection of exciting new recipes which will hopefully keep you cooking over the festive period!

Recognition from accross the Atlantic in the USA yesterday with iFoods being featured on American TV.. We have also been doing heaps of interviews for the States so its nice to know the iFoods word is spreading! we have actually been getting tons of press from all over the world in the last couple of weeks, check it out and see what you think.
Another exciting thing happening this weekend is the news that we will be launching our thanksgiving videos in the next couple of days with all the classics in there like how to roast a turkey, pumkin pie and a whole host of side dishes. So rest assured that you won't be in a panic this year and thanks to videos cooking for the family this year will be a walk in the park!

As i wrote last week we were lucky enough to be nominated for a couple of very prestigious awards here in Ireland last week. Even though the hard part was getting nominated we now need all you guys to help us win the actual award, basically just click this link and vote for us! Well two months after launching we are starting to see more and more people join our foodie community and we got even better news today which is that iFoods has been nominated for two prestigious Golden Spider awards.
They are basically the Irish internet awards and they are treated as the Oscars of the internet and digital media in Ireland so we really are very excited! Its always good to get recognition from your peers and we never thought things like this would come around so soon!
All we have to do is keep our fingers crossed now that we can win one of them on the 22nd November. Exciting times!

In other news we are just finalizing the plans for our next set of videos to be filmed in September. They will include thanksgiving recipes, christmas and new year's recipes along with a large selection of health recipes. If anybody has any suggestions of special recipes they would love to see now is the time to "shout out".
We are also making final preparations for our competition that starts at the end of September. We will have 12 contestants in total and will be announcing more details soon and the good news is as always you blog readers will be the first to know!
